Consular Visto

A consular visto does not represent an “authentication” of the document, nor does it replace the Hague Convention Apostille Hague Convention Apostille. A consular visto consists of a  seal and a signature of the document by the Consulate to attest that the document was submitted to the Consulate. The consular visto does not attest to the authenticity or the content of the document.

Submit in person or mail the document (original or photocopy) for visto along with a money order in the amount of US$ 30 for the consular fee. The money order can be purchased at any bank or US post office, (make it payable to the “Consulate General of Argentina in New York”). We don’t accept cash or check.
